You may be wondering just what the heck is the "Talking Christmas Tree." Chances are, unless you grew up in Rockford, Illinois during the late 1970s, you will have no idea. Even those of us who endured this tree year after year at Weise's department store were not quite sure what to make of it.
This site will offer those of us still traumatized by this tree a chance to rant, offer theories on the origin and current whereabouts of the tree and stories of encounters with this holiday "thing." Enjoy, and remember, it can no longer hurt us.
